Jonny – Fire Risk Assessor

Jonny brings over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry to his role as a fire safety consultant, giving him an in-depth understanding of how buildings are designed, constructed and maintained. This background provides valuable insight into building regulations, structural elements, passive fire protection and compartmentation, all of which are fundamental to effective fire safety management.

After transitioning into fire safety in 2021, Jonny achieved his Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment in 2024. He is an accredited member of the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) and is listed on their Tiered Fire Risk Assessors Register at Level 2.

His combined construction and fire safety expertise enables him to deliver technically informed, practical fire risk assessments grounded in real-world building knowledge.

Jonny covers sites nationwide, but primarily in Surrey, Central London, Berkshire, Hampshire, Sussex and Kent.

Mike brings over 20 years of experience in construction and fire safety. His in-depth expertise in workplace fire safety and fire extinguisher use enables him to confidently lead all of our fire marshal training sessions.

Within the training sessions, a live fire rig is used, giving participants the opportunity to safely extinguish a controlled real fire. This practical approach ensures effective, hands-on learning tailored to the specific needs of your organisation.

Mike is also our fire extinguisher maintenance and installation team lead, covering sites across London, Essex and the South East.

Raphael Whitmore - Accredited Fire Risk Assessor

Raphael brings a technical edge to the team, with a First Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering and over two decades of experience spanning field service engineering, facilities management and workplace training. He has delivered health and safety talks and toolbox talks throughout his career, and has recently completed the NSA Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment, credit-rated at Level 6 RQF in England and Wales. Raphael's background in education and coaching means he has a natural ability to explain complex fire safety requirements in plain, practical terms, making compliance feel straightforward rather than daunting for the businesses he works with.

Raph primarily covers North London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

He is sadly a Liverpool fan, but we don’t hold that against him.

Warwick Theophane - Fire Risk Assessor

Warwick brings a commercially focused and practical approach to fire risk assessment, with a background spanning telecoms assessment and software sales within a Microsoft partner environment. He has developed strong experience in client engagement, risk evaluation and delivering clear, outcome-focused solutions across different sectors. Warwick holds the NSA Level 6 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment. His experience working closely with clients means he is able to communicate fire safety requirements in a straightforward and accessible way, helping businesses understand their responsibilities and implement proportionate, effective safety measures.

Warwick cover Essex, Suffolk and London regions, primarily covering low risk premises.

Rosie - Official Team Mascot

Rosie is the official FSG team mascot — a very glamorous Bengal who’s at her happiest when Jonny is working from home. If you can’t get hold of us, there’s a good chance we’re busy stroking, feeding, or otherwise attending to her needs demands. She’s deaf, endlessly charming, and has brought a level of cuteness to the team that was previously… lacking.
